Gameday: Youngstown State vs. Northern Iowa

For months Penguins fans have had this date circled: October 21. Why you may ask? This is a game we’ve wanted to win for 6 years now, the last time we beat these pesky Panthers. This year we are playing this game at our place with a better team in the Top 5….Say what you want, but YSU is a better at home winning 11 in a row, and sure the last team to beat us at home was these damn Panthers, but that will end this year. Heacock will get his first win vs. Farley in his coaching career.
I will also say this game will be packed. I am predicting 19,500 will be down at Stambaugh at 4:00pm today!! YSU will get the win behind their 12th man effect. Screw the Dome effect, YSU WILL ICE THESE PANTHERS AT THE ICE CASTLE!!!

Well, tough loss. Not all is lost however. If they get tough and win out, with a little help they can still win the conference. If not, we hope for the post season at large.
